Local news from the Korea–Mongolia Business Forum.

Ergelt.mn, a Mongolian online news outlet, reported on July 10 that the Korea–Mongolia Business Forum had been held as part of the Korean president's state visit. Its account focuses on what the forum put on paper — and on the scale of the Korean economy that Mongolian businesses were meeting.

Agreements signed

Mongolia's national chamber of commerce and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed two memoranda of understanding to expand business cooperation. Government bodies and companies signed more than 20 further documents covering critical minerals, energy, geology, trade, food, digital technology, and education.

Who was in the room

Representatives of more than 250 companies attended, from critical minerals, energy, manufacturing, food, and agriculture to trade, retail, digital technology, banking, finance, and logistics. The report also sets out Korea's weight as a partner: an economy of about USD 1.9 trillion, with record exports of USD 709.7 billion in 2025.

Where BIRDSHIP fits

The report does not name individual participants such as BIRDSHIP, which joined the forum with HUHU International's delegation. The company's demonstration and AI-cooperation MOU are covered in a separate article in this News section.
